SUSHI


I was very nervous to try this out but wow, it came out so well. You can use this same recipe to make sushi burritos and add whatever you want inside.

Ingredients: Nori wraps Sushi (sticky) rice Cucumber Rice vinegar Sugar Avocado Salt 1. Make white rice following directions on the package 2. Once rice is done add 1/4 cup of rice vinegar for 1 1/2 cups of rice and mix in 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt 3. Let rice cool down (do not put in fridge to cool down put the rice near a window or fan if you want it to cool faster) 4. slice an avocado and cucumber in strips. Thin for sushi. 5. Wave nori wrap over an open flame on stove to get it warm 6. After rice has cooled for a bit lay out nori wrap and add a thin layer of rice evenly distributing 7. Add the cucumber and avocado in the middle of the roll. 8. Use a bamboo mat or a towel to help you roll the sushi 9. Take the end of the sushi and start to roll it very tightly(if you have trouble with this there are many videos online) 10. Cut up sushi into separate pieces and serve with soy sauce or any sauces you like
